How Can we make angular repeating detail and insulation item?

The insulation has to be drawn as small straight sections using the chain command. for some reason you can't draw curved insulation. Another way would be to import a hexagonal hatch pattern and set the material of the wall layer that is to have the insulation to use the hex pattern as the cut hatch.
