:)I'm an architect and never uses spaces in our models. So I'm using a Space Key Schedule to make a list of Parameters in our Project Template where the Parameter Name is the Key and a description of what the parameter is for is a (project) comment 2, 3, 4 etc. parameter. So far so good, I get structure and alphanumeric sorting. I prefer this to fiddling with extra rows in my schedule title or grouped headers.
:?Clearly there are some limitations to using Keys and Key Schedules I wasn't aware of. Now I want to list a sub set of Space Keys and their comments listing all Parameters relevant to Doors (and what they are for, which comes from the comments in the key Schedule). This works okay, but I have to add each Key (parameter name) one at a time and can only use filters to purge the list, not to add to the list. Here is where the whole idea starts to break down. I want to make another Spaces Schedule listing the parameters relevant to Sheets and how they should be used... but I can't because I can only filter by subtraction.
:cry:The only way I can see around this is to add a parameter with content like 'Sheet', 'Door', make a Space Schedule into which I pull all Keys (parameters) then make copies of it with filters on the 'Sheet', 'Door. Messy and hard to maintain.
Any suggestions for making ordered, structured, sort-able lists in Revit?
