model text issue

Has anyone come across this. when I put in model text on an elevation for a sign the text is inserted upside down and back wards.

I've had this happen to me a number of times also and would love to know WHY! :)
I always just end up rotating and mirroring as needed.

It's a Workplane issue as far as i can tell. I've had it happen, but can't remember the solution....try changing your workplane. I'll experiment and see if I can figure it out, too.

I think i might have figured it out. After beating my head on my desk for a hour I tried rotating my text reference plane 180 degrees and it worked. When I originally drew my plane I drew it left to right instead of right to left. I don't know if this really solves the problem or if I just cheated?

That is the solution to the problem. Model text only orientates correctly on Rp's drawn right to left.
