Afternoon all!

I need some more help please! I've created the attached cover test block that I have been tampering with. I am trying to get one of the sides to stretch to a set distance each time rather than a random length. What I'm after is the top and the right hand side to be stretched 100mm each time in increments but not necessarily at the same time. I might want the top to stretch 100mm but the right hand side not to move on other occasions. Has anyone got a suggestion for me please?

Many thanks :)

Thats great, thanks for that! How did you manage to get the stretch to have set increments each time?

Also, is it possible to have a label when you start stretching the block to show the size you are increasing it to or is that a bit much?

Morning!

I've managed to find out how to do the set increment stretching which will be really useful thanks :)

I'm struggling with getting my rotation to work however. On the attached, the stretching works fine and the rotating works fine but if I rotate the block and then try to stretch it, the block goes all funny. Has anyone got any suggestions for me please?

Many thanks :)

Remove the stretch actions from the selection set of your rotate action. In this case you want to rotate the two linear parameters but not the two stretch actions that are associated with them.

To have the lengths shown you could either turn on dynamic input (DSETTINGS, Dynamic Input tab) or add non-plotting dimensions to your block.
