A couple of years ago I came across an add-in that I never pulled the trigger on but now I can locate it, so I need some help.

It was an add-in for Revit that allowed you to place floors based on rooms. Once you had placed the floor the add-in would remember the floor finish information that would populate the room parameters for your finishes. The add-in would also move the floor finish if the room boundary changed.

Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks

Jarod:)

Sounds like Revit Workflow by Revolution Design to me.

I'd say use Dynamo. Price = Free.
Lots of how to's for Rooms. Even how to make them 3d so you can use them for blocking and stacking.

I'd say use Dynamo. Price = Free....sure free if you don't place a value on your time :)

finishFloors

its a nice manager of the finish floors and updates the room parameters when the floor is added.

Thank again
