I want to get a volume from my subdivision corridor new surface model to my existing surface model. I have got a handle on everything except how to subtract the pavement subassembly.

Do I create a new surface proposed surface that has excluded the pavement subassembly and if so how do I do that?

Is there another way?

Your OOTB subassemblies typically have a datam code assigned to them. In your corridor, select the surfaces tab. From there you can create a surface from the corridor. With that you would add the Datam code to the surface. You could then do a volume surface as needed.

on the surfaces tab in corridor properties use the "Specify Code" drop down menu to specify the link that you want to create the surface from. I believe this should get you what you want. I normally use "Datum" to do this. 102824
