I have been using revit primarily as a quick modeler for Client renderings and have not taken a project into CD's yet. Recently I was asked to take 4 projects through CD's but i am not sure what is the range people are charging for using revit. There is an arichtect already on the projects so there will be very little, if any design on my part.
For my renderings i am used to charging a good fee but i really have no idea on what i can charge per hour for Revit Construction Drawing work?
Any Ideas?
Thanks

My advice is not to charge by the hour. Just because you have a better tool to provide construction documents does not mean those documents are any less valuable. Charge the same thing you would charge for any CD set!!!

Thanks Jim
Unfortunately i don't normally do CD's as I am fairly new to the Industry. I started with a degree in Arch and a minor in CM but the pay for renderings was so good i soon jumped ship and have been doing that for the last several years. Now i am feeling the itch to get back into Architecture again and so this project starts my next life phase. In short, no past experience to draw from for producing CD's
I will be working under the guidance of an architect and the project will be complex as its high-end-multilevel, ocean front property of 6 units with a vehicle elevator lift for 15 cars. I can take a guess at a fee but i think it would be safer to work under a time and materials basis.
Thanks again
Jason
