Detail Callout

I am trying to create a detail view with a call out bubble. However i cant seem to change the scale settings or from course to fine... What am I getting wrong.

How do I change the scale of the detail when the selection for the scale is greyed out.

Why am I unable to modify the callout?

It probably has a view template applied to that view. View templates can include the scale of that type of view. So you can either apply a different view template to that view, or you can remove the view template from applying to that view, or you can create a new view template with a different scale, or (not recommended) change the scale in the view template.
