Creating my first profile

Afternoon all :)

I have been creating my first long section in Civils 3D and was after some help please.

I've attached the file for reference.

So I've created my surface, added the point data, created an alignment and a profile. My labels along the proposed pipeline route read 0+000 but I was wondering how can I change this to read 0, 50, 100 and so on? The same applies to the long section too.

As well on the long section, how can you change the readings under the bottom so you only get either a 2 or 3 digit value, not both and how can I add extra label sets such as chainage, ground level? Or is this done later on in the pipe network.

You need to check you label styles. they control the labels and appearance, where they located. I would suggest that you look up label styles on Autodesk website or one of the blogs.

I would suggest to take some class or buy a book to train yourself. You will not get all the answers you need right here.
