Radial array ?

I have a cupboard 1200 high 600 deep set on a 8m radius wall. I want to do pigeon holes/locker type voids along the cupboard. After sketching the first void, i select the array command and radial array is greyed out. using rotate/copy I can achieve the array. My question is why can't I array along the radial, or am i missing something :banghead:

I think it's view dependent. Try going to a plan, then selecting WF then trying again.

as far as I know radial arrays are not supported in families.....
please correct me if it's not true!

Are you doing the cupboard & voids as an in-place family? I've had similar problems with radial arrays, & ended up rotating & copying.

Thanks gentlemen, your answers confirm the fact I have to continue with rotate/copy.
