Hi there

I have been working on a project for the past week in revit 2016 and moving around in my 3d view has been pretty fine. Today I opened the file and need to zoom like crazy to find my model. I then find it, but if I try to slightly toggle to shift the angle, I completely lose my model and all I can see is a blank white view.

I have a very big 2D DWG site plan linked into the file, but the previous days were alright even with the site plan imported into the revit file.

Please help, will be appreciated.

Kind Regards
Lorraine

Welcome to the forums.
When you orbit in a 3D view Revit will place the pivot point at the center of all the geometry in the view. You are probably correct in identifying the dwg file as the culprit
You have a few options. Hide the dwg file, 'crop' the view using a section box or, before you orbit select an element in the model and Revit will use that element as the pivot point and orbit around it.
If you don't need to see the information in the dwg then hiding it is probably the easiest option.

Thank you so much.

This has worked perfectly.
