SCHEDULE COLUMN DOESNT GO AWAY

I have problems getting rid of the second column of the schedule even when I place all data to the first column.
I place a column to a sheet, divide it to see if I have space for another view. Then I change my mind. Now I can't get rid of the second column. I can take all data to one column but the first two rows just don't go away.

What is going on?

Are you sliding the second part (column ) over the first part till they rejoin ?
