Hello,
I have been trying to make a running bond tile material in the material browser and texture editor. The tile is a simple 6"x24" and I have a photo of it provided by Crossville. When I try to use the Texture Editor to generate a running bond pattern, I get convoluted garble; please see the attached image. While I can get the texture to create a running bond grid using the pattern type pulldown, my photo of the 6"x24" which I uploaded via the appearance section won't align with the pattern type no matter what I do. I even crashed Revit after spending 90 minutes trying to get it to do what I want it to do.
I've attached a photo of the Crossville tile.

Could someone explain step by step how to do this? I'd be happy to design a far more intuitive way of mapping the image onto the desired pattern if Autodesk would like to hire me.
