Gan mau tanya, kalau spek. komputer untuk ngangkat software revit dan teman temannya yang update apa aja yaa?

spesifikasi hardware untuk software Revit disesuaikan dengan besarnya modeling, yaitu medium or large untuk skala yang cukup besar.


Hal yang paling utama adalah RAM (Random Access Memory)
Umumnya banyak berfikir Processor yang menjadi prioritas. Sehingga hanya mengupgrade Processor nya saja.

Sistem Hardware ideal untuk running project menggunakan software Revit adalah:
Operating System : Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit, Windows 10 64-bit
Processor : Intel i7 Core (recommended or lebih tinggi)
RAM : minimum 8 GB RAM, 16 GB RAM (recommended or lebih tinggi 32 GB RAM or 64 GB RAM)
VGA Card : Direct3D 10, Direct3D 9, or Open GL-capable graphics card (minimal memory video card 1GB or lebih tinggi) biasanya pengguna Revit lebih populer menggunakan NVIDIA Quadro

(masih ada type Workstation lainnya, namun yang sudah available di Indonesia hanya 3 vendor tersebut)

Note: perlu diingatkan, terkadang dengan hardware yang cukup tinggi, masih terasa agak lambat. Setiap Vendor Hardware mempunyai softwarenya masing-masing agar sistemnya bisa terkoneksi dan sinkron dengan spesifikasi hardware beserta software yang digunakan. Jadi kalo yang menggunakan hardware rakitan atau Hardware yang tidak di certified oleh Autodesk, jangan terlalu berharap hanyak.

Sore bang.. Saya mau tanya-tanya nih soal Software Revit, saya kan kebetulan kontraktor bangunan (http://www.palusewu.com/) & pabrik, ada rencana mau pake Revit buat karyawan di kantor.
Ada rekomendasi gak nih laptop apa ya yang cocok? atau mungkin saya harus building pc aja sekalian ya?

pertanyaan yang ingin ditanyakan balik :
- Apakah pekerjaannya akan mobile terus? Jika iya, memang lebih baik menggunakan laptop. Jika waktunya lebih banyak di office, maka lebih baik menggunakan PC.
- Umumnya jika menggunakan Revit, suggest menggunakan type workstation. Merk tinggal pilih (DELL,HP, LENOVO, RAZER BLADE, etc), kalo tanya soal kompi jangkrik support ato kaga (resiko tanggung sendiri). Intinya kembali lagi, keperluannya sejauh mana.
- Scope pekerjaannya menggunakan Revit sejauh apa? (Detailing, Fabrication, FM, or etc) ikut menentukan spesifikasi hardwarenya.
- Workflow pekerjaannya seperti apa? (Collaboration, Coordination, Share project, Clash report, etc)

Untuk Revit yang ditanyain apanya yah?

Hi Chris, there is no effect between 2pieces 4GB RAM or 8GB RAM. The question now? is the systems support or can read 8GB RAM?...does the windows is 64bit?... how much the motherboard can read the RAM? That’s what I know from technical hardware. But The most important you should know, like branded hardware..they have own system so can running faster and that is the different between when assembling it yourself.

For correct answer, I’m sorry...I’m not specialist at hardware.
