Hi, hope people can help on this.
I am currently using Revit 2016 and although have license for Revit 2017 was continuing with 2016 to complete some projects half way through.
But this morning my windows 7 computer reported 'This computer will auto update to Windows 10 on 16th May'. No choice!? Auto updates I thought were off!
I am concerned that there are some isues re-timing of when Revit 2017 or Windows 10 is installed...some say need to install Revit 2017 first then windows 10, other say other way round or have to hack registry...or is it other way round?
Will I still be able to run Revit 2016 and prior versions to complete projects? Or do I need to update all projects to Revit 2017?
I had not intended to update to Windows 10 yet as we have some proprietary software I think may need to run in Win 7 mode. and I was also trying to meet deadlines and didnt want the 'upheaval' just now!

For those who have already transitioned to Win 10 and Revit 2017, which order did you do it and does all work properly or where there any hassles?

Urgent Advice please...maybe I need to stop work and rush an update to Rvit 2017 before Windows 10 bites?

Thanks
Robin

Thanks, but were there any issues, and did you install revit before or after win10?

One of our computers updated automatically from 7 to 10 for some reason. So far so good, though. We are running 2016.

I went through both scenarios and no problem at all
