Hi,

How do we get elevation keys to appear in a plan detail we've spent a lot of time developing?

Simple answer is if it is a true "detail callout" that you are developing, then elevations do not show up in a detail callout. If you assign the callout to be a floor plan the elevations will show up.

The Floor Plan type has to be selected at the time of the callout creation. It can't be done after the fact.

You could create View References that look like your elevation tags if you want them to be shown inside of a detail callout.

Thanks. I was worried about this detail vs. plan call-out issue. My drafter accidentally selected the wrong one and now may have to redo things. Autodesk should make it easier for us not accidentally burn fee.

Just helped the boss with this yesterday. Simply create a new callout with Floor Plan selected, make it the same scale as the Detail, then select all 2D components in the Detail (lines, notes, tags, dimensions, etc), and simply copy/paste aligned Same Place in the floor plan callout. Easy!
