Wall Opening Not Editable

I am trying to edit a Rectangular Straight Wall Opening within a Structural concrete wall. When I highlight the opening in either plan or elevation views, the stretch arrows do not appear. I've also had a few instances where only one or two of the stretch arrows appear, but not all of them.

Any ideas? (See attachment for a visual.)

This happens to me alot. I haven't figured out why, but I cut and paste and it works fine (for awhile).
