I am trying to put together a rendering of a reception area. I have tried to go through all the basic settings and I keep getting a bad rendering. Please see the attached 3DView1.jpg. Even when I try to export the same view as shaded, I get something much different than what is on the screen. Please see 3DView1Shaded.jpg. The attached 3DView1Screen.jpg is a screen shot of what I see in Revit. Any ideas on where to start tracking down the problem?
System: Windows 7 Pro Service Pack 1, 3.5 GHz Xeon Quad Core, 16 G memory, NVIDIA Quadro K2200 video card.

Yes looks to me like you need to adjust the exposure, saturation and other tweaks.
I would start with exposure and see how it changes for you.
Looks to me like your light fittings are over exposing the view, try doing a render without the lights showing and I think you will find it doesn't render the same so the issue is with the intensity of your light fittings.
Also there are some external revit programs that you might find more useful if you are often doing renders.
I find revit render slow, and the internal render engine is average when compared to other programs.
I've never tried the cloud rendering simply due to the price but I have seen great images produced from it.
Fuzor is a nice package that also has a load of other features and lets you control light intensity etc in real time before rendering out.

We call this Rainbow Baff :)
The IES files you are using within your Lights are absolute phometry IES files: they are not supported in Revit 2014, 15 or 2016. You will need to change the IES files to ones that are supported.
