Hi folks, looking for some ideas to make a schedule or table to indicate the Zoning required setbacks and what I am providing.
I don't intend to schedule a dimensions string although that would be pretty cool. (I just had an idea - make a generic model family that looks like a dim.?)

Anyway, what I did today is added some shared parameters to 4 pieces of topography and scheduled them to build a schedule that showed:

Required / Provided
North 20' 55'
South 35' 65'
East 10' 25'
West 10' 25'

I would be great if this information could be added and scheduled from the project information.
Again just looking for ideas and tying to have to DRAW and table manually. I am looking after a more DATABASE type approach.

Thanks.

I definitely would not try to do this with the site tools. They need a site plan showing the setbacks, so you'll need to put dims on there anyway, why double the work? I would just make project information parameters that populate a text field on on the project info on the cover sheet so you could just punch in the setbacks in the project info like I do the siezmic cat and wind speeds stuff.

so you have a "2d" family that read project info?
Can you share a screen shot?

It's just shared parameters in a titleblock for project info. You can also make an annotation with the field if you don't want to mess this shared params, but they won't be in the project info
