Stairs and views

I've got a 4-story stair tower. 1st-2nd flr stairs as an assembled stairs. 2nd-4th floor stairs are assembled also but not 'attached' (1/2 to 2/4). on my 2nd floor enlarged plan, my stairs going down, stops showing risers but the supports are still visible. I think the only way to get the risers to show is the linework tool.

also, between 3rd and 4th floor stairs, the double zigzag does not show up.

and there is no way to set the cut plane for the stairs independently from the rest of the model/view?

Yes. Use a view region. You can set all that up for specific areas anywhere in the project
