View Full Version : Area Boundary Lines problem

To all:
I am having a problem with area lines drawing underneath other model components such as windows and doors.
In AutoCAD *cringe* we used to have that nifty "move to front/back" command.
Is there a simple way to solve this issue? (Please, no "Just redraw the area lines.")
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dirk,
Yes that can be really annoying.
What I've been doing is getting the linework down as far as possible, then using the "Hide-Isolate" tool to isolate the boundary lines so that I can clean them up using trim and add in lines to close the boundary.
I'm also considering setting up a duplicate view with the model as an underlay , but havn't done that as yet. Will let you know if it works.

Beegee:
The underlay method seems like a simple fix. I'll try that.

Are we talking hockey or rugby here ? If rugby, why didn't you get involved in "The Thinking Man's Game " thread ? while it was in its prime, ... before Jonny Rotten destroyed the game.
