I have a model with a linked Mechanical model and some small sections of vert pipe are showing up. Not sure why. Horizontals are hidden. Pipe isn't in the ceiling.

See attached.

The OOTB pipes and ducts have "symbolic" lines in the family that show up in any view the symbolic lines are parallel to, regardless of any objects that should block them ... drives me nuts in sections. Depending on the situation, you can hide them manually (via the right-click menu) or using V/G / View Templates.

Any reason why you need the symbolic lines? Could you just modify the OOTB pipes and ducts and never have the problem again?

Well I would remove them if it was my model, but it's a consultants.
So basically what I'm hearing is that I might be Out Of Luck.
If Autodesk is going to add a "Feature" like this, they need to have a way to turn it off. It's above my ceiling and that piece of pipe isn't cut. But the model is so I'm guessing that's why it's showing up. If I just my cut plane to something less, it goes away, and I think it might only from that one model. which would be nice. Maybe I can get them to change it.

Found the solution.
In the link, turn of the "Rise" and "Drop" Category for Ducts and pipes.
Anything that isn't cut or is behind goes away. Anything that's cut appears.
