Tracking changes to an addendum

Hi guys,
I am currently working on a large scale interior fit up project. We have currently issued for 99%DD. We are wondering if there is a way to track when individual walls change from one partition type to another..some how create an addendum list. A vague example would be: "X wall at location.... was a P3 at time of 99%DD it is now a P4". We were thinking of creating some sort of parameter in the wall and tracking it in a schedule.
Is there any way Revit is able to do this on its own?

There's a few Model Compare tools out there that will tell you everything that's changes between model versions. ie archive a model and then compare it to the new version.
Short of that, add a text based parameter and fill in what changed. That's about it.
