Hi guys

New member and user of revit here in need of a bit of advice :)

I am working on a house which is mainly 2 storey and it has a single floor extension to the side which butts onto the main building...

Could anyone offer any suggestions about the best way to achieve the roof below outlined in red, using pick walls brings no joy...I have attached an image of a roof plan and elevation to give a better idea of what I am trying to achieve

Any help or advice appreciated :)

I see three separate roofs ... the one over the two-story area, the one over the one-story, and the little bit over what I assume is an entrance.

Pick walls should work, although you might want to pick them after assigning an overhang of 1'-0" (or whatever distance the fascia is from the wall).

Thanks...I figured it out...I had to define the slope for 3 sides of the roof then untick it for the side that butts up against the wall of the main building

You learn something new everyday I guess... :)
