Custom stair break lines / cut marks

Is there a way to customize the break line / cut mark of a stair beyond the two OOTB options (zigzag and curve)?

You cannot change the the actual shape of the cut mark to something other than zig zag or curve but you can change the size of these elements within the properties of the stairs.
