I recently have been noticing that my linked models, MEP, structural, are disappearing from the model. But when I go to manage links they are still shown except in the status tab they say "Not Found". When I click on one of the links and then hit the button "reload from" and find the link, it will go through a process and then at the end tell me " Can't obtain permission to edit the element: The central model is inaccessible. You can check out worksets at risk, but consider carefully!" Is this something that is just occurring with 2016? I did not notice this happening until I started using 2016. And how do I fix this?

If I had to guess I'd try to recreate the central file for the links. It might be hung on the server or didn't transfer fully when it was sent to you.
Just a thought.
