Hi all,

I am currently trying to produce an Existing Signage Layout Drawing for a project. I have multiple tabs in one dwg file and where there is an overlap between paper space layouts, the images are showing on multiple drawings, when I only want to show them on one. We have tried setting layers to not plot, and switching layers off where we don't want the images to show; but don't seem to be having much luck - the images still print regardless of layer settings.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could resolve this?

Thanks,

Sean

Turning off layers works fine for simple objects like lines and text, but not so well for more complex objects referenced to multiple layers like blocks and referenced files.

Best pratice for what you're doing is to use viewport freeze to freeze the layers only in the viewport you want them frozen.

Thanks for your response Tom. That's exactly what we have done; and it doesn't show on the drawing but still shows on the plot which is the issue I am trying to circumvent.

Any other ideas?

Only thing I can think of that might behave like that would be an imbedded image. Can you describe how this image got into your drawing? Listing it would help. A propperly attached image would not have that problem.

Hi,
I've you tried using "wipeout" in your layout, covering what you don't want to see
