is there a way to color match a filled region to paint manufacturer's color?
when in the filled region type parameters 'color', only choice is the basic colors and the Pantone color picker.

any idea?

Thank you.

Only Basic and Pantone?
you get every RGB Value possible, plus Pantones are available.
Pantones also have RGB values that you can find.
I can find them for Sherwin Williams.

I'm not sure what manufacturer you're looking for, but I bet the RGB value is available for most of their stock colors.

but there is no way to use a 'dropper' similiar to photoshop or something to say what the color is?
just had to do a try-try-try-again way...

more like EIFS system...Parex colors. any software that I can use to figure out the RGB colors?

open up your paint program if you have Windows.
take a screen shot of color you want to duplicate for the filled region and paste it in Paint.
then in Paint, under the tools, you will see a 'dropper' icon called 'color picker', pick the color and then in the Colors toolbar, select Edit Colors.
there you will see the Hue, Sat, Lum plus RGB. Just copy over the RGB numbers and go back into Revit, Filled Region Color Parameter and select an empty box under custom colors and replace the RGB numbers. and hit OK.
