HI All,
If anyone could help i would appreciate it.
I have received multiple drawings which are tiles of a building. These tiles are export from separate Revit models and they overlap slightly.
At each overlap there are blocks representing FF&E items, so Chairs, sockets etc. So i have blocks with the same name located at the same points. Overkill does not remove them. Does anyone know how i can remove duplicate instances of these blocks?
Thanks in advance. Richard

Welcome to AUGI.

Have you tried the OVERKILL Command?

Cheers

If they are the same block with the same insertion point then Overkill should be deleting all but one of the blocks. If it isn't can you post the drawing or part of it?

How about you select one of the blocks, then use the select similar to select the rest of the blocks, unselect the block you want to keep, then erase the remainder.

Hi Richard,
you mentioned these blocks come from Revit.
From my experience with Revit blocks, they don't always have the same name.
The name is created from where the item is located on the floor or something like that.
The same receptacle located in different rooms doesn't necessarily have the same name.
So overkill does not work and select similar command neither.

Exporting from Revit to AutoCAD is not very enjoyable experience, I feel your pain.
If you find another way, please share it with us
Thanks
