Here's a question regarding the strategy behind setting up a large campus project. I know this has been discussed again and again, but I couldn't find an answer to this one question:
When a file with sheets is being linked in to file with a couple hundred sheets, do the sheets from the linked file have any impact on the performance of the file they are linked into? Not referencing views per file or anything fancy. Does the simple fact of the linked file having sheets going to decrease performance in the larger file? Is it better to remove sheets from the linked file before linking?
We will have maybe 500 sheets and I am trying to figure out how to batch them in such a way so that the team can work in a smallish file with a smallish number of sheets with a smallish number of team members without the work of one team adding to the problems of another team.
