We have wall types with may different layers of materials. We would like to increase the overall wall lineweights in order to make the drawings "pop" more.
However, when the lineweight is increased, walls with many layers of thin materials end up with lopsided and/or very thick (overlapping) lines.
It is desired to control the visibility so that the finish faces have a heavy line, and the core faces have a lighter line, and all of the other lines are white/invisible. Is there any way to achieve this in Revit? I've been playing with the object styles for walls & common edges, as well as the Override Host Layers tool (possibly the most confusing tool in Revit), but have not been able to achieve this goal. Has anybody else been able to do so?
