Hello all,
I am currently linking Excel spreadsheets (with Form/ActiveX buttons and checkboxes) into AutoCAD drawings via the PASTESPEC > Paste Link > Microsoft Excel Worksheet option. The CAD drawings will later be converted to PDF format. I have discovered two issues:
1) Form Control buttons appear on the drawing, but are not displayed when the drawing is in PDF format.
2) ActiveX Control buttons appear on the drawing, and are displayed when the drawing is in PDF format. However, changes on the spreadsheet are not always reflected in the .dwg file, even when the .dwg file is closed and re-opened.
Ideally, I would like to use the Form Control buttons because they are easy to manipulate. Does anyone know of a long-term solution to either problem?
