Demolition Phase

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I am familiar with the standpoint that there should not be a Demolition phase as it is technically unnecessary. However, I like the idea of having an intermediate phase where demolition can occur to keep demolished elements on a separate phase from temporary elements.


Managing this additional phase does not seem to be an issue. Can anyone advise how this could end up going wrong for me? Thanks.

No problem at all, just make sure it's all clearly communicated.

One hiccup to watch is that when you create a new Schedule, it will want to default to the last Phase of work, you'll want to manage this actively to control which Phase you're scheduling stuff. And, make lots of views for every Phase for clarity. Lots and lots of working views.... lots and lots...
