Some days ago, I opened my .dwg file and something happened with it, I saw a message: File hangs or crashes AutoCAD. I didn't restore autocad file after some efforts.

Try:
1. Recover command
2. Check “Automatic Save File Location” for an autosaved copy with the same name with the SV$ extension
3. Insert into blank drawing
4. Check with MIS to see if they have a backup copy

Good luck,

Also....

5. Your .DWG should have an accompanying .BAK file in the same location. (Unless the MOVEBAK command has been used to relocate the BAK files). A BAK file is just a .DWG file, with a different extension. Rename it.

6. In the location of your Autosave files (.SV$), there may also be .BAK file(s) that will contain older versions of your file.

7. Post the DWG file here and let someone else give it a shot. There are ways to import parts of the file using AutoCAD MAP.

8. Download one of the AutoCAD clones such as BricsCAD. Many times these programs can open a DWG that AutoCAD refuses to open.

Not all .dwg files can be getting back via internal AutoCAD commands. For severe cases of corruption there is DWG Restore Toolbox (https://www.restoretools.com/dwgrestore.html), it serves a substitute of many manual methods and represented by demo
