Room Tags - moving info

[htlmv]

OOTB room tag shows volume, number and area. Is there a way, once the room is tagged and only need the Name and Area, to move the Area directly under the name?
or do I need to create a new tag with the area directly underneath?

Yup. New Tag.
You could play some games with Visibility, Types and a duplicate Label in the family, but it's much easier to just make new family with the Area in a different location.
