Revit Massing draw order

How can we change the drawing order of masses such that they don't cover walls elements and model lines. I'm finding that when I place a mass, wall and model lines, (in that particular order) and go back to edit the mass, the walls and doors get hidden when reprint them out even though they are there in the model and are visible on the screen. If we copy the elements, paste them back in the same place and then take a print, they show up in the print out. So I assume that drawing order is such that the only last modified element shows up . (We did a work around where we did a Detail Group on each level with line segments to trace the building outline. But that does not automatically update.)
