Block editor launches after creating a new block

In ACAD 2017 when I close the Block Definition Window after I create a new block, the block editor automatically launches. This is new behavior. Is it controlled by a system variable I may have changed?

In 2015 & 16 there was a check box for this in the lower left corner of the block definition window.

There is nothing new, except the toggle shown here is probably checked on.
