materials, textures, etc

I noticed that I have 3 folders 1, 2, 3 under \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Textures\ each containing a folder 'mats' with what it looks like identical materials. does it matter which Mats to use?

can I copy 1 of them and put it into the company materials folder for mapping?
