I'm having a bit o'trouble trying to get glass to show correctly.
can someone paste their settings and an example of what it looks like?

point me to a tutorial that will help?

When you say a rendering outside the office, you mean an image created by someone else correct?
First off, are you sure they didn't do a bunch of post-production work in say photoshop?
As for settings it all depends on the kind of glass and how you're render is set up.
Are you using out of the box glass? Did you create or modify Glass? Interior or exterior? Sun On or off? Rendered inside of Revit or did they use 3ds max, Lumion, Enscape or one of a dozen other options?
Whey you were asked to be more specific these are the kinds of needles in the hay stack we're looking for?
Do you know exactly how image you've provided was created?
