Hi Again
I'm in trouble as always.
I have no panels or tabs?
Using Windows Vista
when I open autocad I get the followinghttp://forums.augi.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=104839&stc=1

then when I go to the workspace switching icon I get this

Do you have any other cui files in that folder? Do you have any coworkers who can get the file for you? The alternative is to try a repair, then reinstall, then clean reinstall

cui acad.bak 2793kb
cui acad 2388kb
cui acadsampleworkspaces
cui acetmain
cui custom
cui dbcon
cui AecArcKOE
I don't have anyone else with cad.

Looks like you have acad.cui, open Options File tab and see if the path of those cui files is in the "Support File Search Path".

Yes I do have administrator rights.
But I think the problem is solved,
deleted the cui.acad file and renamed the cui .acad.bak to cui.acad.
Panels and tabs are back and the customisation file is restored all appears good.

I've seen this occur, usually with the Civil 3D main menu in 2009-2013.

The menu becomes corrupt somehow and you have to use the BAK.

In fact, at some point they built the "restore backup" into the GUI.
