View Full Version : 2017 Annoying UCS ICON

How do I turn of the little UCS ICON that pops up whenever I click on an object. IT just gets in the way.
This ICON pops up near the grips when you select an object.
Any help would be appreciated.

First go into the '3D Modeling' tab in Options and uncheck options for 'Display the UCS icon' and click OK.

The UCSICON (System Variable) setting is saved in each drawing though so you need to turn it off as well in each layout and viewport of your templates so you don't have the issue with new drawings anymore. You will still have to turn it off when it pops up on existing drawings though.

Are you sure you are talking about the UCS icon? It does not pop up when you select an object.

Post a screenshot please.

Get your DUCS in a row: check out Dynamic UCS (DUCS) setting.
