The structural engineer linked our architectural model, which uses worksharing in our office, into their own revit model. They duplicated many walls, floors, etc. in their own Revit model and placed them on their own workset that they created. We have now linked their Revit model back into ours and it is visually a mess with all of the duplicated elements. I understand that I should be able to turn off all of their duplicated elements by turning off the visibility of the workset that they created, but we don't have that workset in our central model. What am I missing?

I found the answer. Go to visibility/graphics overrides. Then click on the Revit links tab. Then click on the by host view button under the display settings column of the linked file row. In the RVT links display setting, Click on the basics tab, Then check the custom radio button. Then click on the worksets tab and change the worksets drop down to custom. There you will be able to uncheck the visibility of any workset that you do not want to see. Click okay twice to save your changes. Whew!
