Hi,

I am drawing some walls for offices. These are curtain walls and they would like those frosted glass stripes across for privacy. I have previously done them using curtain grids and filling in the 3" stripes with frosted glass. This poses a problem when you need this on the doors and it cuts up the door. So now I am trying decals. They are a pain since I can't seem to copy them and have to put them on individually. I have each wall and door with (5) 3" stripes with 1" between the stripes. Any tips on an easier way to do this? They change the walls so often, it's getting tedious and time consuming.

Thank you in advance for any advice,

Sue

I would do the stripes the same as you were except for the doors I would make a new door family and build adjustable height stripes into the doors.

The attached door family was built in Revit 2015.

They other way we've done this for branding was to use a face based model and apply it to the door panel or the wall.
Just another way around it.
But if it's just the stripes you want, the family provided is the best method.
