Hi,

For example, if you have set the wall to a 'plaster' finish in the room identity data, but want to change the wall in that room to a tiled finish. Obviously you have to edit the wall type, but also have to change the wall finish in the room identity data.
My questions would be, if it's possible to extract or link the actual finishes (internal side) used in a wall, floor or ceiling type directly to the room identity data or schedules?

Thanks in Advance.

This is on my list of to do things using the Revit API, but haven't had the time. Has anyone tried this? Perhaps this can be posted in the Revit API forum.

This isn't exaclty what you're looking for, but the Roombook AddIn from Autodesk is similar

@sdarali: I can re-post in the API forum, if the admins allows reposting?
@DaveP: This plugin is only useful for quantity take-off, it doesn't seem to be working as per my intentions.

Would it be possible to have the wall, floor and ceiling finishes as a 'shared parameter', so it can be scheduled across a project?
