Since the advent of File Tabs to switch between all open drawings in AutoCAD, I’ve always found them to be large and take up too much screen real estate.

In the past, I’ve used the utility DwgMan by CAE-Link as a replacement. The file tabs generated were small and easy to read.

The last version of DwgMan was for AutoCAD 2014; the utility is no longer available. Is there another small file tab add-on/plug-in available for AutoCAD 2017 and above? Thank you for any assistance.

This may help one of the things missing in Autocad is a Goto layout so I wrote one http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?84430-Move-layout-Rename-layouts-Goto-layout one project 88 layouts so goto 2 look up index then goto x, also using CTRL PGUP PGDN moves up or down the layout list only problem is its backwards.

Since before File Tabs were added I added "Switch Windows" to my "Quick Access Toolbar". By default it's on the "Interface" panel of the "View" tab in the Ribbon.

Without using any screen space all open drawings with their full paths shown are always available as a drop-down selection. Screen space matters!

Mr. Beauford, this is a simple solution to my question that I have never thought about. Thank you for the suggestion.

I'm a bit late to this thread, but 2014's version is not the last version. I have a 2015 version and am currently searching for a 2017 version (crossing my fingers).
