Gents,
Im having as issue with Revit 2016. As soon as I tried to open a file I got this message
Display Error Cannot use Hardware Accelerator
Hardware Acceleration Disabled
A video driver error has occurred and all views will close.
Restart Revit or continue working with hardware acceleration disabled.
What is going on and is there a way to fix it.
I am totally lost here.
Thanks

Open revit (not a project)
Go to the options tab
Make sure the Graphics Acceleration is turned off and try again.
If you're still getting the error, i would check to see if there's an updated driver you might be able to use.
Other possibility is that your card is starting to fail.
But I'm going with a bad driver.

If it's one specific project, my guess would be there's a bad Link - most likely a DWG that's super-dense or way, way far from the Origin.
Hopefully you know what's Linked and can clean it/them up in AutoCAD.

I would try updating the video card driver from the vendor site.
