Still rendering, so still looking for solutions to problems arising.

Has anybody made any progress on texture mapping in Revit? I've been using the SketchUp 3D Warehouse for a few entourage items that are difficult to get/make in Revit. Namely plantings. That's fine as all the textures can be fairly generic.

However, I have two vending machines that show up in the background of a rendering that I'd like to give some detail. There are indeed Revit family vending machines, which might be OK. However, I'd love to just use a rectangle and apply some textures to it. I have an In-Place family that is just a rectangular solid right now with a decal applied to the front face.

A lot of background information could be done with simplistic models--a little more than a rectangular solid, less than modeling every button--and some texture mapping. Kind of like they do in video games. Anybody have a way to generate that style of model for Revit? In Revit? In another program and import?
