this might be a little difficult to explain...
Is there a command or a process that will allow me to stretch a solid..
I want to grab the grip on the corner and have all three faces stretch w/ it.
I've attached a sample picture to help visualize what Im trying to accomplish.
the red lines would actually become a valley.....

No. You can do it with wireframe mesh but not with solids.

You can also do it with 3Dfaces. Not solids, though.

I agree, haven't seen it work with solids.
I mostly use solids if I want a quick 3d picture.
