Way to extract xref after it's been changed but before it's been reloaded?

Okay, I screwed up. I forgot to do a saveas before creating flat cnc files for my model. Now my cabinet is a flat file instead of the nice 3d model I had. Is there a way to extract that model after the xref has changed? I've looked at the autosaves and bak files, but they're a no-go. I also see I can't bind the xref.

Am I hosed?

You could also go for right click on the dwg > properties > previous versions to see if older versions of the dwg exist. That is, of course, assuming it's on the server and your server is set to back up files.
