Section markers....where'd they go??

This has happened to me now several times. I have cut several sections through the same space. Now one of the section annotations has disappeared. The section still exists, as do the callouts related to the section. I mouse over hte area where the marker should be...nothing. The other section cut lines are visible and normal.
How can I get it back?

right click on section name in the project browser > properties > and check the visibility settings for "hide at scale coarser than" value
